These paintings and drawings have all been done as part of my AS Art unit of hallucinations. In an attempt to show what a person with bipolar disorder would see, I used an expressive way of working to symbolize the chaos and thought processes that would happen inside the mind of such an individual. The opposing colour palettes (cold and warm) are meant to depict two states of emotions, depressed and manic.
